Enhanced the integrity and accountability of election administration through transparency and comprehensive staff training programs
Streamlined election efficiency using improved modern technologies and security to ensure secure, fair, accurate, and transparent elections
Dedicated resources to digitizing and preserving historical public records, ensuring their accessibility and protection for future generations
Launched a free Property Recording Alert Service program to provide property owners a tool to keep informed of property transactions with timely notifications allowing residents greater transparency and control over their property records
Implemented enhanced security protocols across daily office tasks, strengthening protections while maintaining efficient service to the public

Clerk Hinton is an experienced election administrator, public servant, county leader, champion of voter rights and accessibility, life-long community member, wife, and a mother. Since beginning her career in the Clerk’s Office, she has overseen 12 elections with a strong commitment to fairness, security, accuracy, and transparency. Her work ethic shows a clear vision of safeguarding democracy and ensuring public trust through experience, integrity, accuracy, and transparency to the residents of Yamhill County. Collaborative relationships with fellow Clerks, cities, state and federal partners, and businesses are a top priority.
